ABOUT ME

I was a very motivated student in school. I held myself to a high standard, and I worked hard to make the grades I wanted to make. I very rarely got into trouble, but if I did it was always for being a little too chatty.

I have now centered my whole professional identity around that personality trait of mine. I LOVE talking to people! My passion for people and human connection is my underlying motivation in all of my professional endeavors. I understand the importance of brands connecting with their audiences as the very foundation of public relations, and I consider my interpersonal skills to be one of my greatest professional strengths. While choosing a career path, I wanted to pursue something that would combine my love for people with my love for writing and storytelling. Public relations was the perfect combination of those two values, and I knew this field would allow to me to do work that was meaningful and that I loved to do.

Upon my graduation from college, I had the honor of a lifetime of participating in my dream program as a Disney Professional Intern. For over 100 years now, The Walt Disney Company has been captivating the hearts of millions with their exceptional narrative abilities. If I was going to be a storyteller myself, then what better place to sharpen my skills than with one of top storytelling corporations in the world?

As a Communication Intern with Walt Disney World Public Affairs, I strengthened my skills in writing, design, strategic planning and analysis through a multitude of projects. The cherry on top: I had the time of my life doing it!

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, listen to Fleetwood Mac, eat at Chicken Salad Chick and watch my favorite episodes of Friends for the 100th time. I also love to travel, preferably to any place that is warm and sunny!
